iPhone/iPad magazines

I see that a wave of British iPhone/iPad monthly magazines have been launched in recent months to add to the bookazines? specials that are doing the rounds.
There's Apps, Tap & iPad and iPhone user.
Is there the number of users to support them all? Have any other mobile OS brands had their own magazines in the past?
