Best mobile BB and laptop deal ?

I am looking for a mobile BB and laptop deal for my niece.
Apart from 3 the network does not matter.
I would say she will need around 3GB pm.
The laptop does not need to be a free one as long as it can cope with some word processing ,web browsing and a basic photo editing.
Any recommendations on decent deals or the best laptops to look at ?
